Feeling the dirt and rocks under my feet, as I’m climbing up the mountains, legs start to get stronger as I go further up the mountain,
The fresh cool breeze moving into my hair and hearing it whistle through out the forest,
The sweet smell of pine trees and the fresh air running through my body,
Birds chirping, people with their dogs walking by and giving you a nice morning greeting,
As I go deeper in the woods I can hear a stream of water, or crackling of a branch, that I stepped on and it breaks in to,
Higher I get the sun is beaming down on me the later in the day it gets,
Sweat pouring all over my face, from such a strenuous hike up to the summit,
Once I reach the top I can see such magnificent views of the mountains and the city down below,
As I take everything in I can’t image anywhere else I’d like to be,
About the Creator

I’ve always had a interest in poetry since I took a creative writing class in high school. Writing poetry is my safe place where I can either get positive or sometimes negative energy out by my writing of poetry.
