Spoonful of rueful

Haikuful as appetite

Medicine goes down

~

Haiku as a pearl

Around her neck, she did twirl

One-of-a-kind-girl

~

Haiku as a tooth

Smiling, they fit well to tell

the truth with such couth

~

Haiku as a cog

in a wheel that turns and yearns

for more ease and grease

~

Haiku as a cube

made of ice that cools summer

dripping down spine line

~

Haiku as a train

who tracks his journey game and

who toots his own fame

~

Haiku as a piece

puzzle of thoughts on table

jigsaw decisions

I love each one but my favorite is the cube of ice 🧊that cools down summer. ☀️I can feel it melting down my back 💦💧
