Mirror, Social Media, and Me: The Comparison Trap
Throughout the years we have all heard a well-known quote: comparison is the thief of joy. For some, this is just a quote that they relate to, but some can deeply feel the definition of it and realize what it actually means. I believe that a lot of teenagers relate to this quote. When you hit puberty, it all comes down to one thing—emotion. This is the period of time when you feel every little detail intensely and you discover new things. There is a little doubt that puberty is the time when people mostly experience insecurity. You notice things about yourself that you never cared about before, and you feel the need to change.

What Happens to Your Sex Life When You First Get Out of a Relationship?
As I prepare to discuss this story that I very nearly titled: Sexual Gratification and the Missing Boyfriend, I ask that the reader keep in mind, this material was initially written for women, however, the valid points I attempt to make can just as easily apply to men.

I See
I wish I could tell you it wasn’t fear that drove me into the oblivion. But, it was how I was placed in the world. Let me explain, I was given a duty a task so to speak. A task to show the world that demons do exist and if a demon exist than what would counteract a demon, how could I fight them? Me? All by myself? Does that mean I’m the opposite of a demon? Was I an angel?

Appaloosa. Content Warning.
I couldn't stand this girl. For no reason at all. She had atomic orange curls springing in every direction, fully loaded chipmunk cheeks, and a different shirt with the same horse on it every stinkin' day. Her freckles looked so out of place on her sickly white skin. It was a month into 7th grade when I finally learned her name. Tracy. It was as bland as her personality. I didn’t understand her in the slightest; every time she spoke, her monotone voice would send my mind running for the hills. When the bell would ring, she would always be the last one to leave the classroom, but somehow scatter to be the first one to arrive at the next. I guess karma put her in just about every one of my classes and it drove me crazy that I could spend days studying for a test and never make the same grade as her in any of them. Why did she bother me so much?

What I Wish Someone Had Told Me Before I Started Planning My Move to Canada
Most people who start researching a move to Canada do the same thing first. They look up what it costs. Government fees, language test prices, maybe a rough number for rent in Toronto or Vancouver. Those figures matter, but they only tell you half the story.

An Open Letter to Rachel Dolezal
Dear Miss Dolezal, My beautiful black queen! How are you? I’ve noticed you’ve taken on a new look. You wear it well. With comparisons to Beyoncé, it is remarkable how you transformed yourself from media circus to established sex instructor. Bravo!

The Piggy Project. Top Story - February 2026.
I’ve had so many names in this life I lose track of which ones were ever really mine and which ones I wore because someone needed me to. Some were handed to me before I had words to refuse them, before I knew what they meant, before I knew I could say no. Most weren’t meant to hurt. That doesn’t mean they didn’t leave marks. Marks that told me who I belong to, who I am by way of who claims me, recognizes me in the good and bad, who walks beside me.

Everyone Wants to Be Rich — But No One Talks About Financial Anxiety
The Race to Succeed Before 25 : Nobody warns you that chasing money can quietly steal your peace. From a young age, we are taught to dream big. Be successful. Earn well. Build a life that others admire. Somewhere along the way, success became equal to income. And income became equal to worth. By the time we turn 18, the race begins. Graduate early. Start earning early. Succeed early. If you’re not financially stable by 25, society makes you feel like you’ve already lost. Relatives ask about your salary before asking about your happiness. Social media shows people your age buying cars, traveling abroad, launching businesses. Every scroll feels like a reminder: You are behind. But behind what exactly? No one really explains that life is not a stopwatch competition. Yet we keep running as if it is.
