'WEAPONS' Review
Let me preface this by saying that I never watch trailers for new movies the majority of the time. To add more to that statement I normally don't watch them all the way through when I do watch them anymore. The reason for this being that in the last decade films began giving a little too much away in the trailer. That especially goes for the horror genre. Without rambling for too long about trailers lets get to the one at hand, 'Weapons'.

The Gluttony of Blackwood Manor
The Gluttony of Blackwood Manor The fog that clung to the Blackwood estate was not weather; it was breath. It sat heavy on the lungs, tasting of copper and wet ash, wrapping the Victorian spires in a shroud that never lifted, even at noon.

Top 10 Spring Break Horror Movies
Spring Break is often associated with fun, sun, and relaxation, but in the world of horror films, it can also be a time of terror and chaos. College students and high school students are having a great time, unaware that the worst is yet to come.

Mon Ange (My Angel)
I was one of Louis XVI’s (sez) many black dot assassins. One wouldn’t suspect a woman, so it was easier to go through the city unnoticed, even without being on the arm of a man. I wore my hair differently (in a tight bun) and wore black street clothes. When I wore my hair in the popular noodle island curls with my signature white long teardrop earrings and my off-the-shoulder red ball gown, I became La Duchesse de DuBarry. While everyone else wore wigs, I slept in braids every night to achieve the curls they thought I naturally had. Oh, the blush was real. In those days a Vitamin D deficiency was favorable.

Of Entropy and Chaos
As the frequency from the tape filled the office, the city outside the 42nd-floor windows underwent a terrifying, high-definition transformation. The "Static" didn't just swirl in chaotic clouds anymore; it organized. It snapped into a rigid, mathematical lattice that mirrored the steel skeletons of the skyscrapers below.

Of Entropy and Chaos
Kael began to ransack the room with a cold, mechanical fury. He didn't toss the furniture like a common thief; he dismantled it like a demolitionist looking for a hidden structural flaw. Blueprints were shredded—the work of my life, my meticulous calculations of wind-load and soil density, turned into white confetti that drifted through the stagnant air. Bottles were smashed against the concrete, the sharp, medicinal smell of gin rising like an incense of failure.

Whispers in the Dark
Lena awoke to the sound of a creaking floorboard echoing through the old house. At first, she thought it was part of a dream—one of those half‑awake moments where the mind invents noises. But then she heard it again. A slow, dragging creak, like someone shifting their weight just outside her bedroom door.

The Disappearance of the Sodder Children (1945)
This case is widely considered one of America’s most baffling missing-person mysteries. Five children disappeared on Christmas Eve 1945. Officially, they died in a house fire. But investigators later discovered something deeply unsettling: There was never any evidence their bodies were in the fire. Not a single bone... Not a single tooth... Nothing!

Someone Is Watching -Chapter 3
The rain had stopped, leaving the city slick and glimmering, but the storm in Elena’s mind was only just beginning. She pressed her back to the apartment door, trembling, thinking that maybe — just maybe — she could get away. Her hands fumbled for the lock. For a moment, hope flickered. Then she saw it: the handle would not turn.

The Homes Flagged for Follow-up. Content Warning. AI-Generated.
By eight each morning, our office smelled of coffee, disinfectant wipes, and printer heat, which is to say it smelled like concern that had learned to invoice. I unlocked the care-management dashboard and began assigning fifteen people to the homes where they would bathe strangers, sort pills, warm soup, and sign for it in blue ink.
