Keeping Up with Absolute Rubbish
Have you ever noticed how the pictures you want to stand out to someone, hardly ever do? Then something you post, random and effortless, will capture their attention? It’s the unstudied air of it I believe, that is attractive. Just us being us. Not worrying over what filter to use, or which quote to copy and paste as a useless caption which doesn’t even relate to the selfie. (We have all done it, you are in denial if you try and consider yourself an exception). We spend so much time perfecting our image, what we portray. Can you honestly say everything you have put out on social media is accurate?

Let's visit John and Jane again in their humble apartment. The two have been dating for four years and living together for one. They have known each other for a long amount of time, going to the same high school. Their relationship has been through its ups and downs and is currently in the slumps. They find that they're bored, not with each other, but with life in general. They come home and do the same things, watch the same movies, TV shows, and flit around a routine that was set months ago.

No Hate
So, I randomly clicked on a video on YouTube. It was a proposal video. A woman proposing to her longtime girlfriend. It was very sweet and very beautiful. Then I started to read the comments on the video and felt really disgusted by what these people said. I can't believe how close minded some people are. Those words hurt me a lot. I saw words like faggot, and dykes. One person even said, "We need more gas chambers."

Instagram Can Have You Insta-Divorced!
By now, almost all of us are plugged into social media in some form or fashion. It’s a great way to not only stay connected to distant family and friends, but it’s also an excellent way to communicate with interesting people we’ve never met. Awesome sauce! Right? Well presumably so, yes. But in a marriage, too much Facebook and not enough face time (no not the app) can be detrimental. More and more, I’m hearing rumblings of social media going awry in married life. But how is this possible? How can an app on my phone or a non-pornographic website cause so much turmoil on the home front? Well, if you’ve ever heard that too much of anything is not good, even if it’s supposed to be a good thing, then you’re beginning to get an idea of where I’m going with this.
